Why didn’t I get my Raptive payment?

If a Raptive payment doesn’t go through, it will appear as “deferred” under Payments > Payment History > Status in your Raptive dashboard.

This may happen for a few reasons:

Missing or incomplete payment or tax information

Your payment may be deferred if the required payment or tax information is missing or incomplete when payments are processed.

To add or update your payment information, go to Payments > Payment Info in your Raptive dashboard. There, you can update your contact details, choose a payment method, enter your payment account information, and submit a tax form. Be sure to continue through the final page to save your changes.

Invalid tax form details

Your payment may be deferred if the contact or payment information in your dashboard doesn’t match the information on your tax form.

Go to Payments > Payment Info to compare your contact details with your submitted tax form. If you make changes, continue through the final page to save them.

If you’re having trouble validating your tax form, see this article.

TIN failed validation

For US creators: Our payment provider checks the tax identification number (TIN) on your tax form against IRS records. If it can’t validate the TIN, you’ll receive an email asking you to review and correct your tax information in your Raptive dashboard. The TIN must be validated before your payment can be processed.

If you’re having trouble validating your tax form, see this article.

Payment threshold not met

Most payment methods require a minimum balance of $25 before a payment can be sent. If your earnings are below $25, they’ll remain deferred until your balance reaches the minimum and will be included with a future payment.

Wire transfers require a minimum balance of $100 after fees.

What should I do if my payment was deferred?

Update your payment information or correct your tax form to resolve the issue. Once it’s resolved, the deferred amount will be included with your next scheduled payment.

Please keep your payment and tax information up to date and plan your business finances around the published payment schedule. We can’t guarantee earlier payment or when funds will be available in your account.

Note: If you have more than one Raptive site, you’ll need to enter your payment information separately for each site.
