What is a Single-Page Application (SPA)?
A single-page application (SPA) is a web application or website that loads a single HTML page and dynamically updates the content as the site visitor interacts with it. Instead of loading new pages from the server each time a visitor clicks on a link or performs an action, SPAs use JavaScript and AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) to request data from the server and update the content within the existing page.
The main goal of a SPA is to provide a seamless, smooth visitor experience, similar to that of a desktop application, by reducing the need for full page reloads. This can lead to faster load times and reduced latency, as only the necessary data is fetched and updated, instead of the entire page.
Some popular JavaScript frameworks and libraries used for building SPAs are Angular, React, and Vue.js. These tools help manage the complexity of the application, handle user interactions, and efficiently update the DOM (Document Object Model).
