Launching your Raptive Community is an exciting milestone, but it’s only the beginning. The first days and weeks are your opportunity to welcome members, start meaningful conversations, and establish the posting rhythm that will keep your community active.
Your What to do next checklist gives you a clear, manageable path forward so you can focus on the actions that matter most.
What should you do next?
A checklist appears inside your Community Management view as “What to do next”, and is visible only to you and those you designate as your creator team. It organizes the next key steps for you to take to build momentum. The checklist shows your progress on the action items and milestones which contribute to a successful community.
As you finish each task, they’ll be automatically marked complete, so you can easily track your progress.
The checklist will help you:
- Finish customizing your community
- Create a welcoming experience for new members
- Add starter content and conversation prompts
- Prepare ways to invite and grow your audience
- Build a sustainable posting and engagement routine
You can return to the checklist at any time to check in on your progress. Each completed step brings your community closer to becoming an active, welcoming space that your audience will want to visit.
Keep the momentum going
Once you complete your initial checklist, shift from launch mode into a simple, repeatable routine.
A helpful starting rhythm is:
- Post something new a few times each week
- Check in and respond to members posts and comments
- Promote your community regularly across your existing channels by sharing a specific reason to visit, such as a new discussion or exclusive update
- Review which posts and topics receive the strongest response using the Community Engagement section of your Raptive Dashboard.
Taking a look at what members are posting is a great way to gain insight on what matters most to your community. Experiment with questions, polls, exclusive content, and behind-the-scenes posts to also see what resonates most with your community members.
