Community Creator Tools Hub

The Creator Tools view in your Raptive Community is where you’ll find the tools you need to manage, customize, and grow your community.

On the web, you can access Creator Tools from the left navigation bar. In the mobile app, open the three-line menu to find it.

From this view, you can welcome new members, manage scheduled posts, customize your community, manage Community Answers, and export opted-in member emails.

What to do next

The What to do next tab gives you a clear, manageable path to build early momentum in your Community. It helps you track the most important setup, content, and growth steps so you can focus on creating a welcoming experience for members.

As you complete each task, your progress updates automatically. Use this tab to:

  • Finish customizing your Community
  • Create a strong welcome experience for new members
  • Add your first posts and Community Answers
  • Prepare ways to invite and grow your audience
  • Build a sustainable posting and engagement routine

You can return to What to do next anytime to see what’s complete and choose your next step.

On the web, find it in Creator Tools from the left navigation. In the app, open the three-line menu, then select Creator Tools.

Member First Content

Member First Content helps you welcome new members when they make their first post or comment. A quick reaction or thoughtful reply can help someone feel seen and encourage them to return.

This page shows the 10 most recent first posts or comments from new members over the last seven days. Use it to acknowledge new voices, respond when you have something meaningful to add, and keep early participation feeling personal.

How to use it

  • React to welcome a member: Select the reaction icon beside a post or comment to acknowledge it quickly. You don’t need to reply to every contribution, a reaction goes a long way to show that you noticed.
  • Reply where you can add value: Select the reply arrow to add a welcome, answer a question, or continue the conversation. After you reply, that item clears from the list to keep your queue organized.
  • Skip an item: Select the X beside a post or comment to remove it from your list without reacting or replying. This is helpful when you’ve reviewed the item and don’t need to take action.
  • Select multiple members: Use the checkboxes beside individual items, or select Select all to choose every item currently shown.
  • Welcome members in bulk: After making a selection, choose a reaction from the bulk action bar to acknowledge all selected members at once.
  • Skip members in bulk: Select Skip in the bulk action bar to remove all selected items without taking action.
  • View the full conversation: Click a post or comment to open its discussion thread before deciding how to respond.

Scheduled Posts

Plan ahead and keep your community active even when you're offline. The Scheduled Posts tab lets you review, edit, reschedule, or delete upcoming posts before they go live. Use this feature to map out recurring prompts, announcements, or content drops.

Scheduled posts release according to the time zone set in your account settings. Double-check your settings before scheduling time-sensitive content.

Customize Community

The Customize Community tab helps you make your space feel recognizable, welcoming, and aligned with your brand. Use it to shape what members see when they visit or join your Community.

Depending on your setup, you can update:

  • Your primary and secondary logos
  • Your Community’s accent color
  • Your Community description
  • Your welcome message and new-member experience
  • Your welcome video
  • Links you’d like members to discover, such as your website, shop, or social channels

A clear description, familiar visuals, and a personal welcome help members understand what your Community is for, what they can expect, and how they can participate.

Invitations and promotion resources

Open Creator Tools → Invite to find your Community Leaders invitation link and customized resources for promoting your Community.

Invite Community Leaders

Share your private Leader invitation link only with people you want to invite to that role. Anyone who joins through it becomes a Community Leader.

Before sharing, check the redemption limits and expiration details displayed with your link. For step-by-step instructions, see How do I invite Community Leaders?.

Find customized promotion language

Under Promotion resources, you’ll find a recommended Community focus and promotional language tailored using the information you submitted when you applied.

Adapt these suggestions to your voice and use them on your website, in newsletters, or in social posts. When inviting your broader audience, share your public Community URL.

For more ideas, see the Raptive Community Growth Playbook.

Community Answers

Open Creator Tools → Community Answers to create and manage recurring questions that encourage members to participate.

Under Suggested Questions, you’ll find ideas tailored to your Community. Review each suggestion, then schedule it as written, edit it to sound like you, reject it, or regenerate it for another idea. You can also add questions of your own one by one, or in bulk.

You can review scheduled and published questions, adjust the posting interval, and choose which published question is featured.

For more guidance, see Community Answers: Ignite Conversation and Activate Your Audience.

Website Embed Code

The Website Embed Code tool lets you preview your Community’s website carousel and copy the code to add it to your site.

The carousel displays trending member conversations and gives website visitors a way to explore and join your Community. Posts from your Creator Team are excluded.

For placement, installation, and troubleshooting instructions, see Turn your audience into members with the Raptive Community website carousel.

Export Member Emails

The Export Member Emails tab lets you download a CSV file of members who have opted into your email list. Exports may include member details such as name, email address, and opt-in date.

You can upload this file to your email service provider to add opted-in members to your mailing list. Export links are available for a limited time, so be sure to download your file once it’s ready.
