What should I name my Raptive Community?

You’ll choose the name for your new Raptive Community during the application process. Pick something recognizable, simple, and broad enough to grow with the space over time. Many creators use their existing site or brand name, or a variation of it, so their audience can recognize it right away.

Most Community details can be updated after you apply, but the name cannot be changed once your application is submitted, so choose carefully.

For example:

  • [Brand Name]
    [Brand Name] Together
    [Brand Name] Club

Your Raptive Community will also have a custom URL, so choose a name that is clear and easy to understand when someone sees the link.

Before deciding, ask yourself:

Will my audience recognize it?
Is it easy to say, spell, and remember?
Does it clearly connect to my brand or topic?
Is it broad enough to support new conversations as the Community grows?
Will it make sense in a URL?

Avoid names that are overly complicated, too narrow, or disconnected from the brand your audience already knows. The strongest names usually feel familiar now while leaving room for the Community to evolve.

If you have more than one Raptive site, choose the site with the audience most likely to participate, not necessarily the largest one. The best fit is usually the site with a clear audience identity, strong engagement, and a topic that naturally invites ongoing conversation.
