Getting your Raptive Community ready for members

Your audience already knows you, trusts you, and wants more ways to connect. Raptive Community gives you a welcoming, dedicated space to bring those conversations closer and build deeper relationships with your most engaged fans.

Now that your application has been approved, it’s time to prepare your Community for your audience.

Before inviting members, focus on two key areas: personalizing your Community to reflect your brand and creating a welcome experience that encourages participation.

Personalize Your Raptive Community

Once you’re approved, you’ll receive a direct link to your Raptive Community and access to your What’s Next checklist. This is where the experience begins to feel unmistakably like you: your brand, your voice, and the first conversations your audience will join.

Use the checklist to:

  • Upload your primary and secondary logos so your Community feels instantly recognizable.
  • Update your brand color to create a cohesive experience across your existing branding.
  • Review your Community description to give your audience a clear reason to join.

Think of your Community as an extension of the relationship you have already built with your audience. Members should quickly understand:

  • Who the Community is for
  • What they can talk about or discover
  • Why they should return
  • How they can participate

A clear description, familiar branding, and a few friendly starter conversations create a strong foundation. Your welcome video is also a great opportunity to set the tone: thank members for joining, share what they can expect, and let them know their questions and contributions are welcome.

Make Your First Impression Count

Next, make sure new members have a great welcome experience, with posts to explore and discussions to join from the start.

  • Create a warm welcome video that makes members feel invited from the moment they arrive.
  • Set up Community Answers with easy, engaging questions and choose one to feature. This helps members join the conversation regularly.
  • Publish a few posts to get things started. A small collection of intentional, welcoming posts is enough to make your Community feel active, personal, and ready for real conversation.

Focus on creating a space that feels complete, welcoming, and easy to participate in. Your first posts can introduce the Community, invite members to share more about themselves, or start conversations about topics they already enjoy from your brand.

You’re Ready to Invite Your Audience

Your Raptive Community is ready to become a natural part of how you connect with your audience. Share it across your communications, on your site, in newsletters, on social media, and wherever your audience already engages with you.

Keep inviting members into the conversation, highlighting what’s happening in the Community, and creating opportunities for them to connect with you and one another. With consistent attention, your Community can grow into a place your members return to, contribute to, and make their own.
