Portfolio Summary
If you have several sites with Raptive, you can access separate reporting for each site by using the dropdown menu at the top of the dashboard.
You can also choose "All Sites" to view reporting across your whole portfolio of sites, including earnings, RPM, and traffic, over different time periods.
My Dashboard
My Dashboard is your homepage that provides you with a snapshot of some of the most important metrics and serves as a jumping off spot for the rest of the data and tools you'll find in your dashboard.
This is a great place to see your recent earnings, RPM, and traffic data at a glance.
Recommendations
Looking for ways to earn more from your ads? On your Recommendations page, we'll surface any current opportunities we've identified for you to earn higher RPMs.
Each recommendation includes the expected increase to your RPM, an estimate of your annual revenue boost (based on your last 12 months of earnings), and the percentage of your peers who are already opted in to this recommendation.
Click the eye icon for more information on a recommendation and, when applicable, to get a visual example. Accept any recommendations that are a good fit for your site. Accept all of your current recommendations to maximize your earning potential!

Earnings
In the Earnings section of your dashboard, you get a wide variety of reports that provide you with insights into how your site and ads are performing.
Overview
On the Overview tab, you can view your earnings, RPM, and traffic data for any period of time. Choose the date range you'd like to view at the top of the page, and the data in every widget below will adjust accordingly.
You can also choose to compare your earnings data to one of four comparison options:
- Preceding period
- Preceding period (match day of week)
- Same period last year
- Same period last year (match day of week)
Select the traffic metric you want to view — Sessions displays sessions and RPM data, while Pageviews displays pageviews and Page RPM data.
Download your earnings data to your computer by clicking the "Export Data" button in the top right corner.
Here are some of the earnings breakdowns you'll find on your Earnings Overview page:
Ad Earnings Overview shows your earnings and sessions/pageviews, which you can view in graph or table format.
Revenue/Traffic displays your site's RPM and Page RPM over your chosen date range. RPM (earnings per 1,000 sessions) and Page RPM (earnings per 1,000 pageviews) are how we track the performance of your ads as a whole. Learn more about the two metrics and what each is used for.
While the standard RPM/Page RPM calculation includes all traffic, RPM on Monetized Sessions/Pageviews only includes traffic where ads ran. Some GA4 implementation methods can skew the standard RPM metric, and RPM on Monetized Traffic can be referenced as a more accurate view of how your ads are earning, especially when comparing across different sites.
Learn more about RPM on Monetized Traffic here.
Ad Earnings By Device breaks down your earnings by the type of device your readers are using to view your site and includes the RPM/Page RPM and Sessions/Pageviews for each device type. This gives you the best idea of where the majority of your earnings are coming from, allowing you to focus on optimizing your posts for the devices your readers are using to access them.
Note: Advertisers typically bid higher for desktop traffic, so it’s normal for desktop traffic to have a higher Page RPM than mobile traffic.
Earnings By Ad Unit displays the aggregate types of ad units on your site and shows you the viewability percentage and revenue from each ad unit. You can also view the data by device type (mobile, desktop, or tablet). Note that multiple sidebar or content ads will appear as one ad unit type.
If you monetize your videos through Raptive, the Video Earnings widget shows earnings broken down by video player type.
Performance by Page
Performance by Page offers highly-valuable, actionable insights into how each page on your site performs. You can see page-level earnings, Page RPM, pageviews, impressions per pageview, CPM, viewability, and more.
Use the quick filters provided above the table to generate lists of pages that are your top earners, revenue opportunities, and traffic opportunities. Click the "about" text below the filter to learn what actions we recommend you take on these pages.

Performance by Traffic Source
On Performance by Traffic Source, you’ll find both site-wide and page-level performance metrics — including pageviews, Page RPM, earnings, and more — broken down by traffic source. This is a great way to learn which platforms you might want to increase your promotional efforts on and gauge whether or not your current efforts on various platforms are seeing results.

Brand Safety
Advertisers may avoid placing ads next to content they consider harmful to their brand. In your Brand Safety report, you’ll see any pages on your site that advertisers have flagged for potentially risky content, as well as the category and level of risk.
You can compare performance metrics for these pages against your site averages and thoughtfully determine whether you should update your content.

Visit the Earnings Sources page to see monthly breakdowns of your total earnings from various sources. This is also a great place to see how much to expect in your next payment.

Traffic
The Traffic section in your dashboard pulls information from your Google Analytics account and offers several ways to view your traffic data to help you understand how it relates to your ad earnings.
Use the date range selector at the top of the page to view your traffic data for any time period. You can also choose to compare your traffic data to one of four comparison options:
- Preceding period
- Preceding period (match day of week)
- Same period last year
- Same period last year (match day of week)
Here's a look at some of the traffic data you can see on this page:
- Total Sessions, Pageviews, Pages per Session, and Bounce Rate
- Traffic Overview: Daily Sessions and Pageviews
- Traffic By Device: Sessions, Pageviews, and Pages per Session on Mobile, Desktop, and Tablet
- Traffic By Source: Sessions, Pageviews, and Pages per Session for each of your top traffic sources
- Traffic By Country: Sessions and Pageviews for the top countries sending traffic to your site
- Top Content: Pageviews and % of Total Pageviews for the top 10 pages on your site
You can use this data to better understand and cater to your audience. You'll know how readers are finding your site, where they are located, what type of device they are using, and what pages they are looking at.
Make sure your top posts are optimized for earnings and reader experience, and track your traffic stats over time to ensure your time and efforts are leading to growth.

Videos
On the Library page, you can upload new videos and grab embed codes.
Add a title, description, and other information about your video after or during uploading. This article goes more in-depth about the video upload process and adding and editing information about your video.
To embed a video into a post or page on your site, grab the code by hovering over the video, then clicking Embed > Copy embed code.
For WordPress, these embed codes are shortcodes you can copy and paste into your visual or text editor. For Blogger, Squarespace, or other content management systems, your embed codes will be <div> codes which you can copy and paste into your HTML post editor.

On the Playlists page, you can create, edit and publish as many playlists as you want. If you use the Raptive Ads WordPress Plugin, you can assign playlists to run on specific web pages based on the page category in WordPress.
