Raptive Compass is currently in a closed beta.
Our goal at Raptive is to help you connect the dots between your data and smart actions. We want to help you understand what’s currently happening in your business and what you can do to increase revenue, by driving higher RPMs and more traffic.
Raptive Compass does exactly that. With Raptive Compass, you can:
- Access your most important data quickly and easily
- Get guidance on your next best steps for accelerating your business
- Take action on your highest ROI activities
Raptive Compass is available in two formats, to meet the needs of all of our customers:
- An in-dash Raptive Compass homepage experience that highlights your most essential data, provides AI-powered insights, and offers a custom, prioritized to-do list of your next best actions.
- (Releasing soon!) A portable Raptive Compass MCP that allows you to access essential data and guidance within third-party tools of your own choosing and empowers you to build custom reports and tools to support your workflows.
Raptive Compass in the Raptive dashboard
Let’s look at what’s included in the Raptive Compass homepage experience.
- Enhanced Summary Cards & Interactive Daily Performance Graph - Access your essential data quickly and easily.
- Compass Insights - Get AI-powered guidance on your next best steps for accelerating your business.
- Action Center - Take action on the highest ROI activities with this prioritized to-do list.
Enhanced Summary Cards & Interactive Daily Performance Graph
Your summary cards have gotten a facelift from the old dashboard homepage. You’ll always see your earnings from yesterday, plus earnings and RPM for the current month to date, last month, and last 30 days. We’ve also added a traffic summary, so you can see your latest Sessions and Pageviews at a glance.
The Daily Performance graph is now bigger and better, showing you the data you care about most, in a way that’s easy to spot performance trends and pinpoint your daily metrics.
Compass Insights
Make AI work for you, by talking directly to Compass. You’ll get a daily summary of your latest performance trends, and you can ask any follow-up questions you have.
This is a great way to get answers to your questions quickly, without having to click through your dashboard reports to find the exact data point you’re looking for.
Use the built-in prompts or ask Compass anything you’d like, such as:
- How is my RPM trending this month?
- What are my most popular pages this week?
- Where is my traffic coming from?
- How is my RPM performing, year-over-year?
- Which pages are underperforming, and what can I do to boost their Page RPM?
Action Center
If you’ve ever wanted Raptive to tell you your next best step, or wondered how you should best spend the time you have to work on your business today, the Action Center is your answer!
This prioritized to do list presents you with the highest-ROI activities Raptive suggests for your site. If you only have five minutes to spend on your business today, start with the first item on the list!
Note: At the time of the Raptive Compass beta release, sites will all see the same three, built-in actions. But we’re already hard at work on the next version of the Compass Action Center, which will provide a dynamic, customized list of the best actions you can take, for your individual site.
FAQs
What data can Compass access?
During the beta release, Compass is available to full and limited-partner users and has access to data found in the following reports and resources:
- Revenue Recommendations
- Earnings Overview
- Performance by Page
- Performance by Traffic Source
- Performance by Country
- Performance by Category
- Brand Safety
- Traffic
- Raptive Help Center
- Raptive Resource Center
This will change over time as we add more data and capabilities to Compass, so the easiest way to find out what Compass knows is to ask it! Just say, "Compass, what can you help me with?" or "Compass, what data do you have access to?"
Why did Compass say [specific response]?
We’ve done our best to train the Compass AI to provide you with accurate data and useful, actionable guidance. But, it’s still an AI! We can’t predict every single prompt-and-response scenario, so it’s possible you’ll get a response that seems out of place.
If Compass is giving you data that appears to be inaccurate or guidance that doesn’t seem right, we’d love to hear about it. Each AI-generated response comes with thumbs up and thumbs down buttons. Once you click, you can provide additional feedback to help us understand what went wrong (or right!). This will help Compass get more helpful over time.
It’s also good to experiment with different prompts. Be specific and communicate what is important to you. For example, if you ask Compass which traffic platforms you should focus on, it may only look at your Traffic report to give suggestions. But if you ask it to specifically consider RPM performance when giving guidance, it may look at Performance By Traffic Source to take RPM and earnings data into account.
Raptive does not guarantee any AI-generated information, so use this feature alongside your own intuition and unique knowledge of your site and business goals to make decisions.
Are the Action Center actions specific to my site?
At the moment, no. With the beta release, we’re displaying three top actions we regularly suggest for all sites. We’re actively working on the next phase of Compass, where the Action Center will show the top actions we suggest — customized and prioritized for your site.
Future actions may include urgent site health alerts, recommendations, pages to update, posts to promote, keyword opportunities to pursue, webinar/event invitations, and more! The goal is for you to always know how best to spend your time each day, whether you have 5 minutes or 5 hours.
Can I turn off Raptive Compass?
As long as Raptive Compass is in beta, you’re free to request to go back to the old dashboard homepage experience. However, Raptive Compass will become standard for all Raptive customers in the near future. We’d love to hear any feedback you have to make it better for you.
