Want to access your Raptive data and use Raptive Compass externally, in your own AI agent? We’ve made it easy to do that, with the Raptive Compass MCP.
Connect to Raptive Compass MCP
Follow the below steps to get your AI agent connected to Raptive Compass MCP. This should be a quick process, taking less than 5 minutes to complete.
We’ve included screenshots and instructions below for Claude Cowork and ChatGPT Work (Codex), and the process should be similar for other AI agents.
Please note: AI platforms frequently change their interfaces, so these instructions may not reflect exactly what you see. However, if you run into any difficulties, they can usually be solved by asking the agent itself for help.

FAQs
What data is available via the MCP?
You can access the data found in the following dashboard reports via the Raptive Compass MCP, as long as your user currently has permissions to view these reports in the dashboard:
- Earnings Overview
- Recommendations (see pending revenue recommendations)
- Performance by Page
- Performance by Traffic Source
- Performance by Country
- Performance by Category

- Traffic
Raptive Compass MCP can also access and search the Raptive Resource and Help Centers, which it will do to help answer questions or provide guidance.
We plan to make additional data available in future releases.
Who can access the Raptive MCP?
Access to the Raptive MCP is linked to your Raptive dashboard user and permissions. Currently, only full and limited-partner users will have access to data via the MCP.
Upon installation, the MCP will prompt you to log in with your dashboard credentials. Access will be limited to the sites and data you currently have access to via your dashboard.
What can I do with the Raptive MCP?
The Raptive MCP can be used in a number of useful ways. Many creators and publishers choose to create custom dashboards, tools, and notifications that allow them to interact with their data in a way that best supports their workflows.
See the Raptive Creator API article for some examples of how other Raptive customers are utilizing their data outside the Raptive dashboard.
Do I need to use the Raptive MCP?
Nope! If you’re happy with the reports and tools that are already available within your Raptive dashboard, you may not have a need for the MCP. It’s an optional tool that we’ve chosen to provide, for creators and publishers who want to get more sophisticated with their data analysis and business workflows.
Can you help me use the MCP to create custom dashboards and tools?
Raptive does not officially provide support for third-party platforms. If you are not familiar with using an API or MCP, we suggest reaching out to a developer to help you. The Raptive Facebook group is a great place to connect and get recommendations.
Why did Compass say [specific response]?
We’ve done our best to train the Compass AI to provide you with accurate data and useful, actionable guidance. But, it’s still an AI! We can’t predict every single prompt-and-response scenario, so it’s possible you’ll get a response that seems out of place.
If Compass is giving you data that appears to be inaccurate or guidance that doesn’t seem right, we’d love to hear about it. Each AI-generated response comes with thumbs up and thumbs down buttons. Once you click, you can provide additional feedback to help us understand what went wrong (or right!). This will help Compass get more helpful over time.
It’s also good to experiment with different prompts. Be specific and communicate what is important to you. For example, if you ask Compass which traffic platforms you should focus on, it may only look at your Traffic report to give suggestions. But if you ask it to specifically consider RPM performance when giving guidance, it may look at Performance By Traffic Source to take RPM and earnings data into account.
