The Invite tab in Creator Tools gives you a private link to share with your most engaged fans. Anyone who joins through this link becomes a Community Leader.
Community Leaders can help welcome new members, start conversations, answer questions, and model the kind of participation you want to see in your Community. They also receive a Leader badge and access to Leader-specific spaces.
Where to find your Community Leaders invite link
- Open your Raptive Community.
- On the web, select Creator Tools from the left navigation. In the app, open the three-line menu, then select Creator Tools.
- Select Invite.
- Find your Community Leaders invite link.
- Select Copy link, then share it with the people you’d like to invite..
What happens when someone uses the link?
When someone clicks on your invite link, they will be prompted to either create a new account or sign in if they already have a Raptive Community account. Upon joining, they immediately gain a custom profile badge and exclusive access to restricted leader-only sections of the community.
What should I know before sharing the link?
Your Invite tab shows important details about the link, including how many people can redeem it and when it expires. This link must be refreshed once it has redeemed 100 times or after X days, whichever comes first.
Because this link is specific to Community Leaders, use it only for the fans you want to invite to that role. To promote your community more broadly to your full audience, use your community site URL (e.g, community.raptive.com/YourCommunityName).
Sample message to send to a potential Community Leader
Hi [Name],
I’m getting ready to build a new community, and I immediately thought of you. You’ve been such a thoughtful and engaged part of my network, and I’d love to invite you to join as one of my first Community Leaders.
As a Community Leader, you’ll receive special recognition for the part you play in shaping this space, including a profile badge, access to leader-only community areas where I’ll be checking in with exclusive content just for you, and the opportunity to be recognized as one of the first people helping guide [brand/community name] culture and direction from the very beginning.
In this role, you’ll help welcome new members and share your story. Your voice and insight will mean so much in helping make this community feel warm, and welcoming from the start.
