Comscore Social Authorization | X/Twitter Troubleshooting

If you're having trouble setting up X/Twitter authentication or if it stopped working after a few months, try these steps to reconnect.

Double-Check a few things first:

  • Verify the X/Twitter URL: Make sure you're authenticating the correct X account (confirm with Raptive that it matches the one we have you registered for)
  • Professional Account: Your X/Twitter account must be a Professional account.
    • If it's currently personal, follow these steps to switch:
      • Go to your profile and select Edit Profile
      • Select Switch to Professional
      • Select Switch Account Type
      • Choose the account type that best fits

If all of the above looks good, let’s check the Twitter Connected Apps Integration:

  1. Go to X/Twitter Connected Apps: https://twitter.com/settings/connected_apps 
    • (You can also find this under Settings > Security and account access > Apps and sessions > Connected Apps.)
  2. If the Sharablee connections IS NOT present, please try walking through the Twitter Integration again
  3. If the Sharablee Connected App IS present and everything looks correct, please remove the integration and try the process again.
    • Click on Shareablee and then click “Revoke app permissions” (screenshots below)
