Interscroller Ad FAQs

What are Interscroller ads?

Interscrollers are high-earning mobile ads that are placed within a site's content and revealed as the visitor scrolls down the page. Raptive offers three types of interscrollers: Default Interscroller (Miniscroller), Full Interscroller, and Hangtime Interscroller.

Miniscrollers and Full Interscrollers can run in the following ad slots: Content 1-9, Recipe 1-4, and Below Post. Hangtime Interscrollers can only run in Content 1.

How do I get interscrollers added to my site?

Interscrollers are enabled by default. If you’d like to opt out of this type of ad, click here to drop us a note.

What does it look like?

Default Interscroller (Miniscroller): Enabled by default and sized like regular mobile content ads.

Full Interscroller: Enabled by default, larger than the Miniscroller, and can earn 200-400% more than a standard mobile display ad.

Hangtime Interscroller: Similar behavior to the interscrollers above; however, the creative pauses briefly as the reader scrolls through the ad and will only run in the Content 1 ad slot.

How much does it earn?

When they run on the page, Full Interscroller ads earn 200-400% more than a standard mobile display ad. You’ll see interscroller earnings included with your other mobile content ad earnings in the Raptive dashboard.

Does this type of ad align with the Coalition for Better Ads (CBA) requirements?

Yep! All of your Raptive ads meet CBA’s guidelines. Interscrollers appear within the content and never cover any content. Our intelligent content ad spacing and conservative maximum settings on the number of content ads also make sure ad density never becomes an issue.
